Cancelling a Bank Transfer Order
Because most members execute their payment via bank transfer immediately after placing the order the need to cancel an unpaid bank transfer is relatively rare. However it can occur for a number of reasons
- They immediate realises they have a prior engagement and cancel before making the transfer.
- They accidentally book multiple times.
In most cases they should have informed you that they haven’t paid when they cancel the walk. If in doubt make sure a bank reconciliation has been run to ensure that there isn’t a payment in the pipeline.
If you are happy to proceed then the process is exactly the same as with the cancellation of a cash order.
